Sobooster Search & Filter enhances your online store's site search with our advanced algorithm, enabling customers to easily find desired products by matching search keywords. Say goodbye to basic search bars with our integrated search engine solution.

How do our site search features work?

The search algorithm provides relevant results by scanning keywords that are similar to the word entered in the search bar. It searches for matched products in various attributes such as product title, product type, vendor, tag, product options, SKU, barcode, metafields, and description, with the option to disable the "description" attribute. Typo tolerance is acceptable for searchable attributes like product title, product type, and vendor. The search engine also includes collections, blog posts, and pages in the results based on their title data, with options to make their content searchable as well.

In addition to these basic search principles, our search app utilizes advanced algorithms like fuzzy search, synonyms, and Suggestion Dictionary to further customize search results for clarity and conciseness.

To customize your searchable attributes, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings > Search index from the app's admin.
2. Scroll down to view the list of searchable attributes.
3. Click on any attribute to edit its priority and settings.
4. Click on the Sync button (orange/yellow) at the top right corner to update the search index.
