This feature helps control how and when the stored data are synced.
How does your Sync work?
The Sobooster Search Index app syncs your store data with our servers automatically. We detect changes from Shopify and sync them to our servers.
At what interval it checks for updates?
It usually updates the catalog instantly. For some stores on the basic plans, the delay is usually 5 mins. For trial and other stores, it should happen in 15-30 seconds to a few minutes only. We detect changes by webhook from Shopify.
We do not have a periodic update, we magically detect changes from Shopify, and the algorithm to detect it is classified.
How long does it take to sync?
The sync process depends on the number of products in your store. If you have too many products in the queue to update, it may take longer to complete the update.
Should I do manual sync?
We recommend doing manual sync when you have changed the setting related to the catalog sync or when the sync button changes from green to orange.
If the sync button is green, the sync is working fine. Please only do manual sync if you have changed the setting related to the catalog sync, which will cause the sync to be slower.
How to do manual sync?
You can do manual sync by clicking on the sync button at the top right corner of the app in the dashboard.
Best-selling sync in Shopify
The Sobooster Search Index app syncs the best-selling products in your store with our servers automatically. We detect changes from Shopify and sync them to our servers.
Translation sync in Shopify
If you are using the translation app, you can sync the translation data with our servers by following these steps:
Ensure that you have installed and activated the Translation on your store.
Follow the step in Translation to enable multiple languages.
Wait for the sync and check the store to see the changes.
Any further changes to the Translation will be synced automatically.
Shopify Markets sync in Shopify
The product price should sync automatically when you update your product in Shopify admin. However in the following cases Shopify does not notify our app about the changes: update in fixed variant price and change in market-level price adjustment for all products. In such case, you should hit the Sync button to update the new produce price.
